Candid Curling Tong

A lots of You Tuber always ask me about this product. Actually this is not any international branded curling tong. It is made from China with brand name CANDID. The handle of this curling tong is different from the regular branded one because it allows you to twist and turn wrapping the hairs easily. I never had seen any other product as good as this (in the sense of user friendly).

PROs:
User friendly especially for you that always curls your hair at home!

CONs:
The handle gets hot easily fast. So, if you take too long time to do your hairs, you might have difficulty to grab.

Price: RM60

Huadry Cosmetics (Seven Colour Eyeshadow)

Huadry Cosmetics are one of the product had highly waved by Mr. Kevin (Taiwanese Makeup Guru). He did demontrates how to use their products in several makeup videos and beauty magazines. I was surprised that during the IBE (International Beauty Expo) last year I found this. It was sold for 50% discount. As yousee, the colors seem to be interesting which have a combination of 3 highly shimmery shades and 4 deep colors with black under tone. I find that this palette is a bit hard to use for just itself because there is no matte shade at all... Well, Asian market always has this issue.

PROs:
1. The color pay off are amazingly pigmented.
2. I never had these kind of eyeshadow textures before, therefore I find it is a good investment!

CONs:
1. Smells badly~ (hard to describe. I even asked the sales girl why? She said all smell like that. I wonder it may expired..)
2. Difficult to work with for daily use as they are highly shimmery and too much of black under tone essence.

Price: RM42 (after discount. I still feel quite expensive!)

PUPA Milano Cosmetic Set

PUPA Milano, from Italy is a not quite popular cosmetics brand in Malaysia and not many people had tried before. Here, I would like to do a quick review on this set which came with these 4 products + a pouch. it's a mini size which is limited edition n it cost RM78. (before I proceed, this set was gifted by Patti, my sister)

1) Professionals Smoothing Foundation Primer, 15ml
- I've been tried most of the primer that available in the Malaysia market. This, I thought it is too smoothe~ because liquid foundation and also 2 ways cake compact nowadays have a smoothing effect.
- It's not necessary to buy this if your skin texture is good enough or you have a good quality of foundation
- If you had bought a kind of foundation which cause caking easily, then you may need a smoothing primer. How smooth the texture you want is depends on how bad is your foundation is..

2) Diva's Lashes, Mascara Maxi Volume (Extra Black), 4ml
- I actually got this original size of mascara earlier, maybe.. 3 yrs back~ This is a good mascara. That's why I bought this.
- It can create a very very very black, volumed, dramatic, long...... and thick eyelashes ever!
- but... you need to consider some of the points before you purchase this. Some people don't like the thickness that it can create because they thought it was too fake and it caused stickiness. For me, it just that how good is your techniques while you applying. After most brands I'd tried on, I think this is not bad~
- the only disadvantage of this product is it does cause staining on the lower lashlines... As I say, even most product labelled WATERPROOF, but still it will stain at least a little especially for my oily skin, it worst! =.=

3) Lip Perfection Cystal
- this is actually a gloss, a transparent gloss
-a bit oily for me~ and a bit sticky for me~
- erm~ I think this is not really needed as most people nowadays purchasing kinda lipgloss with their preferable colors
- but it may works for me cos I like to experiment on different ways to put on a lip product to my clients.
- I'd bought a 32 lip pallette set earlier which I think I could use this as a top coat because the pallette is just pure lipstick texture.
-I also think about using MAC pigments (as recommended by the company only) to create a stage/ creative lip colors by mixing it together.

4) Multiplay 09, Triple- Purpose Eye Pencil, 03oz
- It's quite incredible when I first used this.. WATERPROOF, SMUDGE PROOF..

Cleansing Express (Sebum)

Recommended ++ for a instant makeup removal! Advantage is... you can sleep as soon as possible without rinse/ wash your face! (provided u really clean your face thoroughly with this product) Price RM35.90 Another advantage is like when you make a mistake during your makeup process.. you can use this soak with cotton bud and remove the mistake that you had made. Isn't it great?

Uptown Vision Cosmetics

Do not fooled by their appearances.. They look cheap, low quality.. (well, they are CHEAP~) but the pay off is brilliant! Especially for the twin eyeshadows. You will shocked if I tell you they are RM4 each! (original RM8) during promotion buy 1 free 1. The eyeshadow suppose looks great but my camera cannot pick up the reflection. The texture of it is totally different compared with others cheaper cosmetic. They are just pigmented at their own. Available at certain guardian drug store only~ pityful...

see.. how pigmented they are~ this twin eyeshadows called magic wand..

From left to right..
1. Lipstick in pink parfait
If you able to see it on the scene, the color actually appears to be duo colors, it will reflects pinky sheen when hits on the light..

2. Sheer lip gloss in simmer

It looks pale but actually not.. In real, this color is just nice for a natural nude look. Not too pale and not too pink!It is a nude pigmented but reflects pinkish sheen.

3. Sheer lip gloss in beauty buzz
This is my daily lip gloss! It looks natural pinkish. When the lip gloss hits on light, you will see tiny sheen which reflects gold.

4. Liquid lip color in inspiration
Well, I thought I can try on some coral yellow tone sort of color as the spring is at the corner. This color is just as what you see in the picture.. Bronzy kinda color with the pearl white reflect sheen on it.

5. Liquid lip color in devotion
This is the first lip color I ever bought from this brand. It is just a true rose creamy like pink in darker shade. It do not contains of any sheen.

6. Liquid lip color in affection
This is kinda same color with devotion but slightly lighter pink. The main difference is it contains of tiny tiny gold reflect glitters.

7. The last one, liquid lip color in flirty
This is the most darker shade that I bought. out there, you can find more more darker1 but I think this is good enough to play with. The color actually kinda red + bronze + coral.. Really hard to describe. Just as unique as it is! I used this for gothic makeup look/ darker skin tone customer.

Overalls, they are NOT BAD at all!! In fact, very very impressed me with the quality pay off! The lip products do not have bad smell. Their
smells reminds me about Averine lipgloss! Exactly the same! I tried on my on lips, they instantly smoothen my lips! Incredible! Better than my lip butter from The Body Shop!! I give them A+ for the qualities/ price n C for their packaging because two of my lipglosses leaked out from the tip. Hahaha~

The Tartan's Tale Collection- Special Edition Brush Set 1

From top to bottom:

1)187- A duofibre brush is to apply liquid foundation .It's also called as stippling brush because you are going to use a stippling movements to achieve an airbrush flawless look to your face.It also great for powder/ cream blusher! This brush is most famous amongs all MAC brushes. P/S: I still feel a bit pricking when I use this to blend out my liquid foundation.

2)168-It is a contour brush but it's too small for me to contour a face... a bit disappointed too.. but it also can use as a blush brush. Because it's made from goat hairs, the bristles are more dense to grab more product and hold it in place to pat on the face (that means more sticking to the face). It won't be too soft bristles, so don't expect a superb smooth n soft feeling during application. If I compare with my Jill Stuart brush with same made from goat hairs... the Jill Stuart's wins!

3)252- It's a shader brush also but I'm surprise this is a bit harder than regular one.. The sales girl says it's made from squirrel's hair but I don't think so~ Incredibly, it wont have pricking sensation during application. In MAC manual says, it can be use for both powder shadow and cream shadow..

4)219- Actually this is the most i want to try out from MAC... The crease blending brush but I'm not so happy with the performance because it cause pricking sensation during application! It also made from goat hair, suppose to grab more product to blend.. my cheap pro blending brush is even better than this!

5)209- An eyeliner brush... you know.. nothing much can say. Just a regular one.

Overall, I think I do not like the goat bristles... it's too hard. The duofibre did create some mildly pricking sensation during application but it's alright for me as I expected. I'm happy with the big full size of duofibre brush which I crazy for it for so long...I would say, cheaper brand can perform as well as MAC. Depends on what kinds of brush you want ~

Diamond Absolute Total BB Cream

It is suppose to have a whitening effect, wrinkle improvement, and UV interception SPF37 PA+++. according to the description. It suppose gives you a radiant and shining like jewelry with flora bouquet complex extract.. Looks healthy and so whatever..Price RM 99

The main thing is.. what do I feel about it, right? Well, I'm being trying on it.. For my personal view, I do not find that this product met to the full coverage. Yes, the consistency is thick but still not able to cover discoloration and hyperpigmentation. I'm not liking the sticky formula... maybe due to my oily skin, cannot sustain long wear.. I think it would be perfect for those people who don't have scaring on the face because it gives a healthy skin reflection..

Garnier's Light BB Eye Roll- On

I found this at Singapore! The most famous product from Garnier, Light BB  Concealer in natural shade. It is an eye roll- on product.

The good things about this product:
-contains pure lemon essence which naturally brightens skin and removes dullness around eye ares
-got mineral pigments which conceals imperfections
-also got caffeine to energizes your skin and anti- tiredness
...
It is a first BB eye roller that gives you instant radiance in single application. It also oil and fragrances free, does not clog pores, and suitable for all skin types and tones. I love it!!!

How I use it? Well, I find that when I apply this to my under eyes, the coverage isnot that good if I blend it out immediately. So, I'll wait for a while after roll it on, then only blend it out. The coverage is amazing!

Price: S$22.90

Maybelline's Pure BB Mineral Mousse

At last.................. It reaches Malaysia! I was first thought that this product will not fit me because most BB cream are oily and my face is not suitable to use BB cream.but when I saw this product at Maybelline's corner, the advertisement says it is a oil free BB mousse formula. Then I was thinking why not give it a try? Well, with the very small size product, it really cover the entire face and as well as uneven skin tone. The pores are absolutely invisible! The down side is... it does not give you a full coverage. I mean if I use this product on my face, the scars on my face are still visible but the face tone is even. I feel like this will not stay long on my face and I notice my face actually looks more oily than normally. Price: RM49.80

L'oreal Lineur Intense with Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner

Here I got L'oreal lineur intense with brush tip liquid eyeliner in carbon black. I wanted to try out this for a long time. So II bought this at one of the US website. This is not cheap. It cost me about RM50 to ship in Malaysia.

The package claimed that:

1. All day wear up to 8hrs

2. Water resistant
3. Smudgeproof

Sadly to say, this is a miss! Once I applied, yes it is very black but it rubbed off easily~ Even I did not rub it, about few SECONDS you will notice it CRACKS!!! It is not waterproof at all.. Nothing like what this packaging described. I'm seriously very very very disappointed with this product. P/S: I don't like the brush tip because the there's one little bristle pricking out while I applying the liner... It's just too hard to control.
