These shadows are not that pigmented if apply without eyeshadow base. Here, I'm using NYX eyeshadow base in white. In the swatches, they appear vibrant and pigmented as I used fingers. The eyeshadow swatches are as below:

It cost me around RM159 at Sephora Store in Penang awhile ago. Overall, worth for the price. The shadows can be very vibrant if you are patience enough to build it up layer by layer. Below are some of the eye looks I came out with:
Good news for Malaysian! Now you can get this palette at local website~ colourscosmeticsmalaysia.com (headquarter at Penang!). Previously, I bought this from Drugstore.com which is from US. The risks are:
1. Potentially broken during shipping (I experienced it!)
2. More expensive than what you expected because custom fee may be vary. Sometimes more, sometimes less..
3. Some western website does not ship internationally. That's means, you have to go with third party! Another headache!

Left Column Eyeshadows (Left without Eyeshadow Base, Right with Eyeshadow Base)
This column eyeshadows are not as good as the right sided. As you can see, both deep blue and black are almost look alike. In real eyelids application. you hardly notice the different. The icy white and icy silver are more chunky. Especially the icy white, a lots of falls out, shadow doesn't intense compare with others. The icy silver is a bit better than the icy white. Both deep blue and black are drier formulated. Especially the deep blue, the driest, difficult to build colour even with base. Hardly build up intensity. However, I don't mind because I normal apply little by little to build up the vibrancy for deep dark shadow.
Right Column Eyeshadows (Left without Eyeshadow Base, Right with Eyeshadow Base)
I prefer this column of eyeshadows because they all vibrant and pigment as its own. As you can see, with or without base they workout fine. They are more smooth and buttery feel during application. They are not as chunky or dry as the left column.
Overall, I still happy with the palette. This palette cost me RM37 although in western it is only US$4.99
Today I went to Queensbay Mall and found these babies~ 3 for RM8! So, I bought 15 of them. Overall, these shadows are awesome! All of them are amazingly pigmented, smooth to touch and creamy.
Safari Shadow- It is extremely luminous, velvety texture with intense shimmer
Sheen Shadow- It is smooth, velvety texture with pearly shine
Splendour Shadow- It glides on velvety with intense matte texture
The swatches below are all done without any base. They are vibrant as its own!

Not quite practical to have 3 loops on the wand. I hardly touch both inner loops while applying the mascara to my eyelashes. However, the outer loop apply mascara to my upper and lower lashes equally well.
Wear Time
It cause minimal smudge about 2 hours post application on my under eyes.
Length & Volume
Good amount of length and volume produced on my lashes. Second coat looks more better. I notice length > volume.

I was surprise at first application because it easily give the length and captured my lashes immediately. It does give volume after second coat. However, length is much superior than volume.

I did a full review and try-on video on this mascara today. Maybe it's been sometimes I bought this product, today the try-on result is a bit different from the time I wrote the blog. Yesterday I had went for an outing with the Tarte Mascara. For the day, I was under the sun for about 7 hours with the temperature of 28 degree celsius. Disappointed to say that it smudged under my eyes. I guess it is because of I sweated like hell and my natural face produce oil more than in the air-conditioner room. Today, I tried again to use Tarte Mascara just to confirm whether it will smudge if I didn't go out under the sun. True enough, it doesn't smudge at all. However, it smudged badly when I'm crying (while watching drama, I was weeping, hehe~). It means, it is not waterproof...
