Essence Cosmetics: Quattro Eyeshadow Palette

I bought these palettes from Watson's Store. I feel like the new formula eyeshadows are buttery soft while old formula is not as soft to touch. However, I have to say that I prefer the old formula~ It is because of the old formula has two different textures. Refer to the 'To Die For' palette, there are 3 satin textured eyeshadows and 1 matte colour! Which is great~ On the other hand, the newest formula only has one texture which is shimmers. The shimmers are not the regular shadows you can see in the store.. It is quite similar to the ELF Cosmetics's Prism Eyeshadow (not as pigmented and shimmery as ELF though).

Essence Quattro Eyeshadow (Denim 4.0)
I had hard time to use this palette. The shadows are overall smokeys~ I mean, it works best for smokey eyes in my opinion. However, it is not common for me to rock smokey eyes..

Essence Quattro Eyeshadow (To Die For)
This is just nice for everyday natural eye makeup. Although the swatches are not as good as the newest formula, but it surprisingly super blendable on the eyelids~ Really impressive.. No wonder so many people like it. But just bare in mind, they are not highly pigmented. I would say.. light to moderate pigmentation only.

In conclusion, still worth buying..

For your information, I am using the ELF (Essential) Glitter Primer to prime my skin as above.

DAISO Ellefar Cosmetics: Glitter Eyeshadow Color Makeup Series

These eyeshadows are from Daiso Japan Store. Each palette cost RM5 in Malaysia. They are available in the store quite a bit. However, I didn't pick up these earlier because of the visible glitters. I feel like the glitters are too big for my liking. Today, I changed my mind because I saw that the glitters on one of the palettes are in bright eye-catching violet colors~ So beautiful.. Then, I spent a while to study the appearance of the eyeshadows and finally, I bought all palettes that are available.

Later on, I discovered that actually the glitters are only over-sprayed on top of the eyeshadows. Haih~ too bad.. However, the eyeshadows have moderate to high pigmentation. As you can see, the eyeshadows appear vivid and solid even without any primer. I will still suggest to use primer as the eyeshadows are a little powdery. All of the eyeshadows are in shimmery texture and wet-like on touch.

In conclusion, still a good product considering the price worth.
