This is unbelievable~ The NYX Eye Shadow Base (White) beats Too Faced Shadow Insurance? NYX Eye Shadow Base (White) has won 3rd round of the SMACKDOWN and will be facing the another tough, well known brand in the 4th round.

This is tough. Keep in mind that the winner is chosen based on my preferences and needs. I have an oily eyelids. Anything with moisture would easily cause oil bumps around my eyes. Everyone has different skin type.

This is an amazing set~ I adore all lip product included here. This set sell for US$5.90 and I believe that they all are in full size. I paid US$10.20 in order to ship it to Malaysia.

All of them smell like vanilla, similar to NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. 

Overall, this set is a steal for me. All of them are comfortable, moist/hydrating, pigmented as they are intended. I am 100% happy with the quality.

Ultra Hydrating Color Lip Balm

I don't know how much this cost individually as I can't find it in the website. I saw many people commented this product melts easily. I was so worry that it will melts upon reach to me as Malaysia weather is quite hot. Luckily, it comes to me uneventfully. The colour is sheer, almost unnoticeable. The texture is so.. 'melty'. I have never tried any lip balm has this kind of texture.. No wonder this labelled as 'Ultra Hydrating'~ My lips have never been chapped since I'm using this product.. Bravo!

I found that this product spoilt yesterday. The formula and scent changed terribly. The nature of this product already so 'melt-like' texture. Now, the oil separated and leaking out from the stick. The scent become unpleasant. So disappointed~ Will not recommend to purchase this! 

Lipstick Crayon (Natural)

This product cost US$2.90 if sell individually. Among all, I like this the most. This product is very pigmented even though it is a nude shade. It fully covers my natural lips colour! The texture is moisturising and smooth to apply. So pretty.. The colour appears to be nude with a hint of light pink.

Ultra Pigmented Lip Color (Coral)

This sell for US$2.80 individually. Even though I have never use to OCC Lip Tar, but I believe that this product has a similar texture. Little bit goes a long way~ It definitely requires lip brush to apply. Surprisingly, it does not feel dry on the lips. Upon application, there is some moisture left behind. After sometimes, it dries up a bit but still looks good. This product will leave some stains on the lips.

This is going to be a short review. As you can see on the pictures above. The quality is below average. There is no necessary to elaborate every single colour that I own. Overall, they all are difficult and harsh to apply on the eyelids. I cannot get the colours on my waterlines too.  They are not waterproof. I am quite disappointed with this product because I saw a person blogged this product is creamy and easy to apply. Em... not in the case, for me.The pigmentation shown above was done under numerous swatches.

However, I won't throw it away. I will try to use it as eyeshadow bases rather than eyeliner itself. I probably will not use it on my client, just for myself.  This set is sell for US$4.90 and I paid US$8.50 to ship it to Malaysia. Not worth the money~

This is a moderate pigmented pink colour with fine gold glitters. I think this lip gloss has the strongest cupcakes-like smell.

This is a nude pinkish colour with fine glitters which reflect gold, purple and pink. The smell is nearest to NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream.

Look at that pigmentation as a lip gloss! Amazing, right? This is a red, slight to dark side with no glitter particle in it. I cannot describe the smell well but certainly got vanilla in it.




I agree that High Pigment Lip Gloss is pigmented product. I have seen few YouTubers' review about this product. They criticise that they are not pigmented at all. Because of that, I bought the mini set to try on. I will say that only the middle lip gloss in above picture is not pigmented. That might because of the shade is light in nature and my lips colour are darker. The other 2 lip glosses in this set are quite pigmented. Really amazed by the quality and the price I paid. By the way, this set sell for US$4.90 on the website. However, I paid US$8.50 in order to ship it to Malaysia.



In the Forever 21 website, there are 3 different High Pigment Lip Glosses. The packaging is slightly different, however they all have 'High Pigment Lip Gloss' printed on the tube. Honestly, I do not know these mini size lip glosses are under which original. Three of them have different pricing; US$2.80, US$3.80 and US$3.90.

The packaging is cute, right? Nah.. it is just the outer plastic cover. The palette itself does not has any graphic design.

I am quite surprise to see the palette is actually quite big. The palette measurement is 7.5cm x 17.5cm.

The finger swatches above were done numerous times in order to get these results. In real, all of the colours has moderate pigmentation. I find that they are a bit stiff to pick up by makeup brushes. However, all of them are soft, silky to touch by finger.

The Highlight: It is a cream textured. This is like a non-oily cream which reflects very fine gold sheen. When it is applied on my face, the highlight effect is very mild, not obvious. In another word, it looks natural glow..

The Blush: Yes, it is an ordinary baby pink in colour. Honestly, I seldom wear baby pink blush but I don't mind to use it too. However, what bothers me is that it reflects a silver sheen. This looks weird, in my opinion. It looks greasy on my face.

The Contour: I guess nobody mention this before. I find that this shade looks like either blush or bronzer rather than contour powder. It looks like a blush because there is red undertone while it looks like a bronzer too because it contains of very fine gold glitters in it. This product is not fit to be contour powder because the colour has red undertone. 

Overall, I like this palette because sometimes too pigmented is not necessary. This suitable for everyday natural look. For me, this is a practical palette that I will reach for daily look. 

Price: US$6.80. However, I paid US$11.80 to get this product to Malaysia.

This is my first time using Forever 21 brand cosmetics. I bought this through official website recently.   The price is US$6.90. However, I paid more to get this product to Malaysia through Myus.com because the website does not have international shipping. This product probably cost me US$12 (including shipping)

The shade No. 3 (Dark Brown) and No. 4 (Purple) stained my skin

Okay, let's talk about the quality of the eyeshadows. All shadows are acceptable smooth to touch. There are 3 matte shades (No. 1, 3, 4) in this palette. Surprisingly, all matte shades are quite pigmented reflecting on the price I paid:

No. 1: By close-up looking on the pan, I only see that it is a light nude colour. However, when applied on the skin,  a very light pink duo-chrome is observed. Kind of unique colour~ 

No. 3: This is a dark brown with red undertone. 

No. 4: It is a vibrant purple. 

There are 3 silver glitters shades (No. 2, 5):

No. 2: This is a shimmery-based soft pink. Among all shades, this is the most powdery. It does not adhere well on the skin by its own.

No. 5: This shade impressed me! It is a matte-based black and it is the most pigmented shade in this palette. You know, it is difficult to find an eyeshadow palette which included good black shade.. However, the glitters do not adhere on the skin.

No. 10: This is a shimmery-based, blue with purple black undertone.

The rest 4 shades are shimmery-textured (No. 6, 7, 8, 9, 10). I am quite confused here. Mostly, shimmery shades have good pigmentation. In contrary, this palette has the poorest pigmentation. Although the pigmentation is poor, I still adore all shades because the colours look special to me.

No. 6: I would say it is a nude beige with gold sheen. 

No. 7: It is a mid-tone copper with red-undertone.

No. 8: This is also one of the interesting colours. It is a light icy blue with some hint of silver.

No. 9: This is an antique gold shade. This is the most stiff shade, it is really hard to get the colour out from the pan!

Overall, I enjoy to have this palette. With this price compare to the quality I get, I think it is not bad at all~
